Tri-County Regional Ethics Committee Presents Professional View Point: In End of Life Ethical Dilemmas Seminar

November 17 seminar welcomes three experts.


The Tri-County Regional Ethics Committee (TREC) is hosting Professional View Point: In End of Life Ethical Dilemmas  - a unique seminar featuring a variety of professionals discussing ethics and end of life care. The 2-part seminar will be held in two-sessions on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Runnemede (109 Ninth Avenue, Runnemede, NJ, 08078).

Featured speakers and topics include:
•    Jerold E. Rothkoff, Esq. from the law offices of Jerold E. Rothkoff;  topic: Legal Documents Needed to Avoid a Crisis: Ethical Implications From a Healthcare Perspective.
•    Marcie D. Cooper, MSW, LCSW, C-ASWCM; topic: Controversies in Health Care Ethics
•    Stephen Goldfine, MD, ABFP, ABHPM, Chief Medical Officer of Samaritan Hospice and Hospice Physician of the Year from the New Jersey Hospice & Palliative Care Organization; topic: Aspects of Communication in Quality End of Life Care: Difficult Conversations
