Samaritan Presents Dove Award to Edgewater Park Man
Created by hospice on 4/12/2011 9:05:27 AM

Mary Ann Boccolini, Samaritan Hospice President and CEO, presents Joe Boccolini, Facilities Coordinator, with the Dove Award presented to employees who exemplify one of the organization’s five pillars of excellence - people, service, quality, finance and growth. Boccolini tackles facility-related tasks with excellent customer service, outstanding responsiveness and genuine care.

Samaritan Hospice facilities coordinator, Joe Boccolini, of Edgewater Park received the not-for-profit organization’s quarterly employee Dove Award for service excellence.

As Mother Theresa said, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” Boccolini has been with Samaritan for five and a half years and has tackled each task, small or large, with excellent customer service, outstanding responsiveness and genuine care. All with whom he interacts can rest assured that no matter the request, he will come through quickly and completely.

According to his supervisor, Director of Finance Joseph Samples, “He consistently demonstrates all of Samaritan’s values on a daily basis, despite often times being called to do so on demand – in other words, he’s disrupted constantly from his regular work schedule and, when needed, he simply puts in the extra hours necessary to complete everything we need to have done.”

Samaritan Hospice created the Dove Award in 2009 to recognize employees who exemplify at least one of the organization’s five pillars of excellence - people, service, quality, finance and growth.
