Annual Giving : The Samaritan Circle of Caring

In 1980, a group of community volunteers began meeting in a donated space to coordinate care of 10 people living with terminal illness.  Their tireless efforts to provide holistic support at home for patients and families facing end-of-life are the corner stone of Samaritan Hospice. Now the largest and most experienced hospice in New Jersey, Samaritan has lovingly cared for over 50,000 family members, friends, neighbors and colleagues because of the caring efforts of our founders.

The Samaritan Circle of Caring was created to recognize the generosity of our community, who continue to the tradition of ensuring expert, compassionate care to everyone touched by illness and grief - regardless of insurance status or ability to pay for our services.

Members of The Samaritan Circle of Caring are recognized with a listing in our Annual Report. Champion supporters also receive an invitation to the Samaritan Legacy Society Annual Reception.
