Pam Schneeman was a beloved waitress at Pic-A-Lilli Inn in Shamong for eight years and made all of their desserts until she was diagnosed with adrenal cancer in October of 2006. To pay tribute to Pam, and her love of baked goods, Pic-A-Lilli staff decided to have a bake sale in her honor to raise donations for the Pam Schneeman Loving Tribute Fund at Samaritan Hospice.

Pam, a Samaritan Hospice patient, was able to attend the first annual event in her name. She passed away two months later, but Pam's legacy lives on through the event. "It was really successful the first year when Pam was here for it and she was the one who decided where she wanted the donations to go," said organizer Bonnie Lynn Schneider. "Since then some of us have had hospice experiences and we continue to contribute to Samaritan to support the care they provide for so many people."

This year, the 4th Annual "Grammy Pammy Bake Sale" raised $760 for the Pam Schneeman Loving Tribute Fund at Samaritan Hospice. Pictured here (from left) are Pam's husband Jim Schneeman with organizer Bonnie Lynn Schneider and Virginia Russell.
