Cars, Golf and a Parade Help Raise Funds and Spread Awareness

Samaritan staff and volunteers have been working hard (and having fun) spreading the word about hospice and palliative care. Three great events brought Samaritan and the community together for a good cause.

Veterans Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show to Benefit Samaritan's Veteran Hospice Program took place on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Cherry Hill High School West. All proceeds were donated to Samaritan.

  

 

 The Samaritan Annual Golf Tournament was held on Monday, June 28, 2011 at Little Mill Country Club. Over 180 golfers and 40 volunteers helped raise over $150,000 for Samaritan patients and families.  

 

Samaritan went back to its hometown on July 4 for the first annual Moorestown 4th of July parade. Samaritan was founded in Moorestown 31 years ago, so the staff was excited to represent the organization in the inaugural parade.
